Magnolia Hotel

I recently traveled to Denver to check out the hotel, and upon arrival, this hotel’s Old World charm shines. This restored 1910 building captures many historic details, particularly the replicated corner clock, easily identifying the hotel from the street. Other notable amenities are a business center, full-time concierge desk and 24-hour fitness center.

Eat and Drink

For cocktails, breakfast, lunch and light dinner, Harry’s Bar is an on-site bar and restaurant, overlooking the 17th Street sidewalk. This is a great place to kick back, and people watch. Here too you’ll find those nooks and crannies to gather and chat.

All of Magnolia’s guestrooms come with custom beddings and either a king bed or two queen beds. With 400 square feet of space, the guestrooms also come with complimentary Wi-Fi access, cable television, large bathrooms with garden tub or walk-in shower, spacious work areas, and in-room coffee.

Reception

Our 2025 FAHSAA Gathering Hotel will be held at the Magnolia Hotel located at 818 17th Street. We tend to book hotels in the downtown area, with good amenities close by, usually within walking distances. Magnolia has on-site restaurant, bar and a comfortable place to have a hospitality location. Again, this year we will hold a Welcome Reception, with plenty of finger food and bar. It is near Denver’s 16th Street Mall, the Colorado Convention Center and Union Station.

Harry's

Throughout the hotel you will find nods to the past. Step inside Harry’s and admire the gallery walls. You’ll find historical Denver photos alongside pictures of the Holtze family including a photo of World War I veteran Harry Holtze Sr., for whom Harry’s is named.
